## Company

Milwaukie Lumber Company was founded in 1939 by the Kingsley family. Steve Morse (President/General Manager) purchased the company in July 1987. Brad Morse serves as General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations. The company operates three full-service retail lumber yards in the Portland metropolitan area and Southwest Washington.

- **Lumber & Plywood**: Douglas Fir (kiln-dried and green), Western Red Cedar (true 3/4" thickness — thicker than big-box nominal 5/8"), Pressure Treated (ACQ/UC4B ground contact), Redwood, Engineered Wood (LP I-Joists, LVL beams, Weyerhaeuser TJI)
- **Composite Decking**: Trex authorized Platinum dealer — full product line stocked at all three locations: Trex Signature, Transcend Lineage, Transcend, Enhance, Select. Also stocks TimberTech and Fiberon.

- **Job Site Delivery** (fee-based): Fleet of trucks and truck-mounted forklifts using advanced dispatch software. Delivery area covers the greater Portland/Vancouver metro, Oregon Coast from Warrenton to Bay City, and Bend OR. Materials placed precisely at your job site.
- **Material Takeoffs** (charged service): Bring any residential building plans — experienced staff calculates a complete materials list including lumber by dimension, engineered wood, plywood, structural hardware, and fasteners. Turnaround times vary with the season — ask when you drop off your plans.
- **Floor Engineering / I-Joist Layout** (charged service): Drop off residential building plans and staff will engineer your LP I-joist floor system with correct joist sizes, spans, and hangers. Typically ready in 1–2 business days.
- **Free Estimates**: Call any store for pricing and project estimates on decking, fencing, siding, and other projects.
- **Special Orders**: If not stocked, typically arrives in 3–7 business days through our supplier network.
- **Contractor Accounts**: Dedicated contractor sales staff at every location. Contractor pricing on qualifying orders, invoice-based billing with net terms. No minimum volume to open an account.
